很多人都知道，光在均匀介质中是沿直线传播的，在传播过程中，遇到不透明的物体，就会在物体后面形成一个光不能到达的黑暗区域，这就是影子。
试想一下，如果光不沿直线传播，那它遇到不透明物体的时候，将会有一部分光线绕过物体，到达物体的背面，影子就不存在了。

The sun is shinning. It shines on the trees and the sidewalk. It shines on your house. It shines on you, too.
